We partnered with Ren's Pets, a comprehensive retailer for all pet essentials, to establish a fresh, scalable brand direction focused on their digital future. In my role as a Brand Designer, I collaborated closely with a product designer to overhaul their visual identity. The core goal was to develop a distinct visual identity that is both recognizable and scalable for continuous use across all digital channels, enhancing usability and brand recognition.

Bringing the Brand to Life
I started my process by sketching a variety of characters, I wanted to convey fun, unique playful designs, so audiences could really engage with the brand. I leveraged my illustration background and developed a set of characters. The goal was to make a rememberable experience and to engage customers on a personal level. This project required me to really heavily collaborate with another designer to align the art direction with the UI elements.
Summary
Working closely with a product designer, I helped shape the visual identity for Ren’s Pets. Through careful selection of colours, photography, and iconography, we brought the brand to life in a way that felt both fresh and memorable, ensuring that every touchpoint reflected the personality and values of Ren’s Pets.
